Tim Tebow actually got on base — and it ended terribly

For once, Tim Tebow may have to use his special healing powers on himself.

In the fourth inning of Monday’s Arizona Fall League game, the Mets outfielder got a double dosage of bad news when he was not only caught stealing second but injured on the play, according to MLB.com’s Jonathan Mayo. The former NFL quarterback, playing in his 10th game with the Scottsdale Scorpions, was attempting to steal his second base of the season, but he slid awkwardly into second and got up holding his right leg before leaving the game with a knee injury.
