Tim Bogar is no longer being considered for the Mets’ managerial post, Mike Puma of the New York Post reported last night. The Mets were in the process of conducting their third round of interviews for their new manager and opted not to bring Bogar in for another interview, after it was initially reported that he would receive a third interview after the conclusion of the World Series, in which Bogar was serving as the Nationals’ first base coach.
The Mets have now concluded their final round of interviews, according to reports, and should announce a decision “soon.
