PHILADELPHIA -- Things just aren't going well for the Nationals. Like not at all. They have a record just above .500. Their odds of winning the division are diminishing daily as they sit 6.5 games behind the Mets. Their manager needs a vote of confidence from the GM.
It just seems like something bad pops up each day for a team that was supposed to be the runaway, nobody else has a chance National League East champions. And everyday there is a sign that the season is just slipping away for them.
