Those Fedoras Are Cursed I Tell You!

I wouldn’t have believed it if I didn’t see if for myself. And damned if I didn’t see it myself. The offensively challenged Mets scored ten runs in the fourth inning … nine off Matt Garza … and rode that wave to a 14-1 victory over Milwaukee. Lotsa pent up aggression if you ask me.

Wilmer Flores highlighted the onslaught with a grand slam while batting ninth … the first grannie hit by a nine hole hitter in a National League park … which made the score 6-0. Jacob deGrom had three hits including two in that fourth inning, while going six strong innings to bounce back nicely from Monday’s Wrigley Field debacle.
