Thor working on no-hitter through 5 innings

NEW YORK -- In one of the most significant games of his life, Noah Syndergaard is at his most dominant best.

Syndergaard has not allowed a hit through five innings of the National League Wild Card Game against the Giants. Only two pitchers in history have completed postseason no-hitters: Don Larsen, who threw a perfect game for the Yankees in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series against the Dodgers, and Roy Halladay, who fired a no-hitter for the Phillies in 2010 NL Division Series Game 1 against the Reds.
