As the 2015 Mets finally exorcised the bad mojo of that agonizing 2007 campaign, Peter and his family were watching closely.
The Szuchys were among the 54,453 fans at Shea Stadium for the final game of 2007, when the lowly Marlins humbled future Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Glavine and the Mets, 8-1.
