This famous Mets fan isn’t crying anymore

What a difference a division championship makes!

The anguished first-grader whose teary face summed up every Mets fan’s feelings about the team’s heartbreaking 2007 collapse is now 14 — and a whole lot happier.

“I’m pumped,” said Peter Szuchy of Babylon, LI, whose family has tickets for today’s season finale against the Nationals. “These Mets are going to win the World Series.”

As the 2015 Mets finally exorcised the bad mojo of that agonizing 2007 campaign, Peter and his family were watching closely.
