The remaining healthy Mets travel to Miami to face Marlins

The Mets (20-17) conclude their grueling nine-game road trip at loanDepot Park with a three-game set against the Miami Marlins (20-23). The Mets and Marlins split a pair at Citi Field earlier in the season, with the Sunday series finale getting suspended after just two batters. The Mets have won the season series from the Marlins in each of the last three seasons, dating back to 2018.

Despite losing even more players to injury—how is that humanely possible?—the Mets managed to escape Truist Park with two wins. On Monday, Taijuan Walker exited after three scoreless innings with left side tightness, an injury which would led him to become the 14th Met to land on the injured list.
