Many days, it’s Pete Alonso launching rockets. These days it is Jeff McNeil, who had four more hits Tuesday, who’s next healthy scratch should come sometime in the 2025 season.
Tuesday there were even a couple of hits from Robinson Cano, trying to convince the world (starting with himself) that he hasn’t begun a full pike-position dive into Alomarville.
