Having suffered another miserable loss last night in Toronto, the Mets seem intent on making it crystal clear that they will not be making a miraculous comeback in the standings this year. At 33-49 on the season, they’re just a half-game ahead of the Marlins for the worst record in the National League. There is no doubt that the Mets should be looking to sell as they move toward the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline. With that, let’s run down the team’s roster for some players who could be dealt to contending teams, beginning with the players whose contracts expire at the end of this season.
