Matt Reynolds could become the answer to the ultimate baseball trivia question.
If he plays in the World Series, the Mets shortstop would be the first player to make his major league debut in the Fall Classic.
“It’s been brought to my attention a few times, and if I end up making my debut in the World Series, that’s great,” Reynolds said Friday at Citi Field. “If not, I’m still here and I’m still part of the team. Honestly, I just want to do whatever I can to help this team win and win a World Series.
