Tim Tebow is in Port St. Lucie, Florida, where he will begin workouts as part of the organization's instructional league roster today.

The Mets signed Tebow, 29, for a $100,000 bonus after watching him during a showcased workout in Los Angeles in late-August. Mets GM Sandy Alderson said the signing was not a publicity stunt, but one based on Tebow's potential upside as a baseball player.
Nevertheless, the Mets are expecting roughly 600 fans and up to 100 members of the media to be in attendance, according to USA Today and MLB.
