Q: Is this season a success for Yankees with or without playoffs?
A: It’s exciting in that they only had to take a little step back and not tear the whole thing down. Other large-market clubs, like the Red Sox, have done it where they’ve sold off pieces at the deadline and just redistributed the money in the offseason. I thought it could be a two-year project, but it’s looking more like a half-of-a-year project.
