Collins was tossed in the fourth inning and the Mets lost to the Brewers 2-1 in Thursday’s series finale at Citi Field.
The Mets, who posted losing records in both April and May for only the second time in the past 16 seasons, dropped to 23-29, and they completed the season series against Milwaukee with five losses in seven games.
