Noah Syndergaard becomes the final member of the rotation to make his Grapefruit League debut when the Mets host the Cardinals at Tradition Field on Thursday, which will air live on SNY at 1 p.m.
Syndergaard is expected to throw roughly 45 pitches, much like Steven Matz, Matt Harvey and Jacob deGrom did in their first spring starts earlier this week.
In a recent interview with MLB.com's Anthony DiComo, Syndergaard admits to thinking about one day needing Tommy John surgery, which Matz, Harvey and deGrom all had earlier in the careers.
