Syndergaard doesn't show effects of fatigued arm in no-decision

New York Mets RHP Noah Syndergaard didn't show any signs of arm fatigue in a no-decision in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.

"My arm felt really loose and fluid, even later in the game," Syndergaard said, according to MLB.com's Anthony Dicomo, after giving up one unearned run, allowing seven hits and striking out eight batters in 5 2/3 innings.

Syndergaard, who is 1-2 with a 3.98 ERA over his last four starts since starting off the year 8-2 with a 2.08 ERA, pitched out of a two-on, one-out jam in the first inning and a bases-loaded, two-out jam in the second inning.
