Noah Syndergaard was unable to hold an early four-run lead as the Nationals erupted for 11 unanswered runs to defeat the Mets, 11-4, on Monday night at Nationals Park.

- Syndergaard allowed a season-high five runs - all in the third inning - on seven hits and three walks with five strikeouts in three frames. He was pulled after needing 35 pitches to get through the third. It was the most runs he's allowed since last Sep. 19 against the Yankees.
- The Nationals stole six bases in the game and five against Syndergaard, including four in the third inning alone.
