As most of you probably know, this has been a rough week at the Daily News. So needless to say, a few losses to the Marlins didn't register much on my list of things to be upset about.
But I'm still here, still bitter and keeping an eye on the Mets, especially with the Yanks at Citi.
Listen, any Met fan who says they weren't getting just a little nervous after the two losses (and two Nats win) to the Fish is lying. At the very least, fans had to be getting a tad antsy. But the Nats' loss to the Fish Thursday was big and gave the Mets even more breathing room heading into this weekend.
