The Mets have the best record in baseball, bringing an 11-game winning streak into the Stadium. The Yankees have won six of seven and just beat up on one of baseball’s heavyweights in Detroit. There are larger-than-life players, such as the Mets’ Matt Harvey and the Yanks’ Alex Rodriguez, and two fan bases eager to grab bragging rights.
“It’s going to be awesome,” Rodriguez said after the Yanks beat the Tigers Thursday afternoon.
