Steven Matz will make one more rehab start in Double-A

PHILADELPHIA -- Steven Matz will make another rehab start in Double-A Binghamton on Monday, according to the Mets.

The outing will be Matz's last in the minors before the lefthander is recalled when rosters expand on Tuesday.

The Ward Melville product has not pitched in the majors since July 5.

After going 2-0 with a 1.32 ERA in his first two major league outings, he landed on the disabled list with a partially torn lat muscle in his left side.

Matz, 24, remains in line to return as the Mets enter the homestretch of their first postseason push since 2008.
