A franchise of ups and downs, the New York Mets have had their fair share of disappointments (more than fair, you could argue).
In the latest example, rookie pitcher Steven Matz has had his start pushed back at least two days after straining his side in his sleep.
“He slept on the wrong side ... slept on the sofa ... the Barcalounger,” Mets general manager Sandy Alderson said.
Matz, unfortunately, is the just the last in a long line of stupid Mets injuries, ranging from silly to scary.
Bob Ojeda
