PORT ST. LUCIE — The major league door shut on Tim Tebow on Tuesday — at least for now — as he was reassigned to the Mets’ minor league camp, but eight-time All-Star Robinson Cano truly believes Tebow will be back and make it to the majors this season.
Tebow, perhaps the most positive man in the world, took the news as a learning experience, but along the way did manage to take a swipe at the Jets.
When asked by The Post how this experience compares to his Jets experience, the former Heisman Trophy winner laughed and said: “This is totally different than the Jets experience.
