NEW YORK -- General manager Sandy Alderson indicated Tuesday that it remains to be determined whether the New York Mets will be as active at the trade deadline this summer as they were a year ago. The Mets acquired Yoenis Cespedes, Juan Uribe, Kelly Johnson, Tyler Clippard and Addison Reed in 2015, which helped propel the club to the National League pennant.
The Mets traded a boatload of young arms a year ago, highlighted by Michael Fulmer, who went to the Detroit Tigers in the trade for Cespedes.
