The Cubs ended their 108-year championship drought by defeating the Indians, 8-7, in 10 innings to win the 2016 World Series last night in Cleveland.
It was easily the most amazing end to a World Series during my lifetime, just an incredible game all around. I'm happy for the Cubs, but jealous, especially since the Mets beat the Cubs to get to the World Series last season. I know, when healthy, the Mets can take these guys in a short series and I can't wait to knock them off their pedestal next year.
