Mets prospect Amed Rosario is thankful to have Jose Reyes guiding him as a mentor, the shortstop told reporters through an interpretar on Monday.
"Well I'm so thankful to God first, and then I'm so thankful that I have people like Jose," Rosario said from Tradition Field. "Jose doesn't just give me advice on the field. He really tells me how to carry myself as a person off the field. To always make the right choices, do the right thing. So that's a really great thing to have."
Rosario and Reyes spent time together in Binghamton last year as Reyes was making his way towards the majors.
