RHP Hansel Robles has been recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas to replace RHP Matt Harvey, who has been designated for assignment.
The Mets announced on Friday that Harvey would be designated for assignment after he refused a minor league assignment. The move became official on Saturday.
Robles is returning the big-league team after allowing three runs in eight innings of work for the Mets this season. He has struck out 13 batters and walked one. In five games with Triple-A Las Vegas, Robles has allowing two runs on four hits while registering two saves.
