Mets catcher Kevin Plawecki suffered a broken left hand when he was hit by a pitch in Wednesday's 4-1 victory over the Marlins, according to a report from the New York Post's Mike Puma. The team had already recently lost fellow backstop Travis d'Arnaud to a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow.
The team has not commented on the report.
