Reaction roundup: The Mets’ trade for Lindor and Carrasco

On Thursday, the Mets made waves by pulling off a blockbuster trade for All Star shortstop Francisco Lindor and starter Carlos Carrasco. In return, the Mets send Andres Gimenez and Amed Rosario to Cleveland, along with prospects Josh Wolf and Isaiah Greene. The team has already been active this winter, inking catcher James McCann to a four-year deal and signing reliever Trevor May to a two-year contract.

Under new owner Steve Cohen, the Mets have shown that they are willing to spend more than fans and people around the league are used to seeing them spend.
