TORONTO — R.A. Dickey has a little Hollywood director in him.
Asked if he follows what Noah Syndergaard and Travis d’Arnaud have done with the Mets since they were acquired from the Blue Jays for the knuckleballer, Dickey presented the case for a box-office hit.
“I think it would make for a great story, for sure. What a script that would be if I could face Syndergaard in [World Series] Game 7,’’ Dickey said of the gas-throwing right-hander who dominated the Cubs in Game 2 of the ALCS Sunday night to provide the Mets with a commanding 2-0 lead entering Tuesday night’s Game 3.
