Tommie Agee saved two runs in the fourth inning of Game 3 of the World Series when he snagged a drive by Elrod Hendricks.
October 14, 1969
With the bases loaded in the eighth inning, Agee dove to catch Paul Blair’s liner. Agee saved five runs with the two catches; the Mets won the game 5-0.
October 15, 1969
With the Mets leading Game 4 2-1 and runners on first and third, Brooks Robinson hit a sinking line drive to right.
