Pete Crow-Armstrong has had an, in a word, interesting start to his career. The final first round pick of the Brodie Van Wagenen (and, on a bigger scale the Wilpon) era, Crow-Armstrong has yet to appear in an official game for the Mets. Drafted in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the speedy young outfielder developed out of the public eye last season, with his first appearance for most people coming during this spring training.
Despite that, Crow-Armstrong is hardly an unknown — he has been in the public eye as a baseball player for a while now.
