Nimmo departs after being hit on hand

Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo departed the Mets' game against the Dodgers on Sunday with a sore pinkie finger before the seventh inning, replaced in center field by Michael Conforto.

Nimmo had been hit by a pitch on his right hand in the fifth inning. He remained in the game at that time after a lengthy conversation with the Mets' training staff. X-rays on his hand were negative.
