Tim Tebow will report to the Arizona Fall League on Sunday after the Mets' instructional league concludes Tuesday following the declaration of a state of emergency by Florida Governor Rick Scott
Tebow will play for Scottsdale, which will be managed by first-base coach Tom Goodwin once the Mets' season ends.
"We want Tim to play in more games to continue developing his skills on the field while facing advanced competition," Mets general manager Sandy Alderson said.
"Working in the instructional league has been a lot of fun and productive," Tebow said. "We worked hard, and I was able to see a lot of pitches and work on different things.
