The 12th ranked New York Mets‘ lineup will be seeing a familiar face opposing them on the mound tonight in former 21st round pick and 2014 Opening Day starter, Dillon Gee, who is now a member of the Texas Rangers.
Gee was a partial or full-time member of the Mets rotation from 2010-2015, producing a 4.03 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 40-37 record over 110 starts during that span.
So while he did garner a 3.62 ERA over 199.0 innings pitched in 2013, his overall time in Queens was nothing to boast about, and that issue came to a head in 2015 — his final year with the team.
