The New York Mets had their ups and downs throughout their road trip. They managed keep themselves alive in the wild card race with a 3-3 record. They dealt with injuries, horrible managing decisions and their inconsistent offense. The Mets will be either one or two games behind the second wild card spot depending on the outcome of Sunday night’s Cubs/Pirates game.

The Braves flexed their muscles in the first two games of the series. Mickey Callaway foolishly pulled Steven Matz out of the second game with just 79 pitches after retiring 14 straight batters.
