The New York Mets have signed left-handed pitcher Adam Wilk to a minor league deal on Thursday which includes an invite to Spring Training.
The 29-year old has not pitched on a major league field since 2015 and that was only for one game. In nine career major league appearances, Wilk is 0-3 with a 6.49 ERA and 19 strikeouts.
Despite the poor career stats, the left-hander did not do too bad while pitching in Triple-A last season. In 2016 with the Durham Bulls, Wilk went 2-8 with a 3.
