Outfielder Desmond Jennings signed a minor league contract with the New York Mets on Wednesday.
According to James Wagner of the New York Times, the Mets have assigned Jennings to Triple-A Las Vegas.

The outfielder was released by the Cincinnati Reds in March after failing to make their major league roster.
