The New York Mets need to do a lot this offseason to improve their roster. This includes exploring every option; including starting pitching.
Corey Kluber is undeniably one of the best pitchers of this generation. He has finished top five in Cy Young voting four times in the past four years, winning the prestigious award twice in that span. Kluber has led the MLB in wins over the past three seasons while also finishing second in most innings pitched and third in fWAR.
Even though the 2018 season was another disappointing one for the Mets, the team boasted one of the best starting rotations in the league, headlined by the 2018 NL Cy Young winner Jacob deGrom.
