One of the bigger stories for the New York Mets this week (besides them sweeping the Arizona Diamondbacks), concerned right-hander Noah Syndergaard. Reports came out that Thor had a “livid” conversation with general manager Brodie Van Wagenen regarding catcher Wilson Ramos. Apparently, Thor prefers throwing to other catchers.
Syndergaard disputed that the conversations were any sort of “livid” and that the issue had to do with himself, not Ramos. The Mets ultimately decided that Ramos would catch Syndergaard for Friday’s home game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
