The New York Mets made some moves to their pitching staff as they try to climb the National League Wild Card standings.
On Saturday, the team announced that they’ve placed right-handed reliever Robert Gsellman on the 10-day injured list. Gsellman is dealing with tricep soreness, with his IL placement retroactive to Wednesday, Aug. 14. In addition, the Mets have recalled right-handed starter Walker Lockett from Triple-A Syracuse.
