Just before the conclusion of his breakout season, Jeff McNeil was hit by a pitch on Sept. 25 that broke his right wrist. As a result, the New York Mets‘ slugger missed the remaining four games of the season and officially underwent surgery on Wednesday.
McNeil underwent the procedure at the Hospital for Special Surgery located in New York City.
The 27-year-old then took to Instagram after his surgery to provide an update regarding his condition for the 2020 season.
Surgery went great!! Looking forward to coming back stronger than ever in 2020!
