Lately, there has been a drought behind the plate. Optimistic fans are hoping for some stellar seasons out of Wilson Ramos beginning in 2019 while others wish they could travel back in time and take some of the franchise’s greatest catchers with them back to the future.
From 1962-2018, I’ve searched through the Mets record books to find the best individual seasons by catchers in franchise history. Unfortunately, after much searching through dusty books, I realized most of this information is on something called the Internet; whatever that is.
