The New York Mets had an emotional final weekend to a rough season. Team captain, David Wright was activated for the final homestand of the season. He made his first appearance in over two years on Sept. 28 as a pinch hitter and started his final game on Sept. 29.
Wright, who had been a Met since 2004 and in the organization since 2001, has had a lot of teammates and made a lot of friends during his MLB career. One of those friends is Daniel Murphy, who spent seven years with the Mets.
