For the New York Mets, injuries are a constant cause for concern. Almost as soon as spring training started, the team’s first injury concerns surfaced. Jed Lowrie is currently dealing with left knee soreness.
“The first time I felt it there was a fair bit of pain, and then it’s kind of remained the same,” Lowrie said Wednesday to Mike Puma of the New York Post.
Lowrie went for a precautionary MRI and although no one is sounding the alarm, Lowrie isn’t sure how concerned he should be.
“We need to figure out what’s going on first before we start worrying about how concerned,” he said.
