Things are heating up in the New York Mets‘ search for a new manager. According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, four candidates have landed second-round interviews with the organization. It’s unclear when these interviews will take place.
It was initially reported that Carlos Beltrán and Eduardo Pérez were receiving additional interviews. Now, add the former New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi and the current Washington Nationals infield/first base coach Tim Bogar to that list.
#Nationals IF/1B coach Tim Bogar is another candidate who will get a second interview for the #Mets’ managerial position, sources tell The Athletic.
