New York Mets Bullpen Hands Victory to Marlins in Crushing 5-4 Loss After deGrom’s Gem (Highlights)

The New York Mets fell to the Miami Marlins on Saturday night following a crushing collapse in the eighth inning by reliever Fernando Salas.

The evening was going as planned for the Mets, up until Jacob deGrom was pulled from the game by manager Terry Collins, as they were producing runs and the righty was preventing Miami from doing the same.

The Amazin’s benefited early offensively from a Neil Walker RBI double, as well as an RBI triple by Curtis Granderson.
