New York Mets second-baseman Asdrubal Cabrera will rejoin the team Tuesday and be in the lineup for tonight’s game against the Atlanta Braves, according to Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News.
Cabrera, 32, left Sunday night’s Subway Series finale at Citi Field with a tight left hamstring and was examined by team doctors on Monday. General Manager Sandy Alderson addressed that, among a bevy of other topics during a press conference.
The 28-34 Mets open a three-city ten-game road trip with a two-game series against the first-place Braves who are 37-28.
