The New York Mets have added a right-handed pitcher to the organization.
On Saturday, New York announced that they acquired RHP Brooks Pounders from the Cleveland Indians for cash considerations. Pounders previously played in the minor league system for the Indians.

The last time Pounders pitched in the majors was with the Colorado Rockies in 2018.
