Neil Walker is (so far) destroying right-handed knock on him

The sample size is small, and history indicates a regression to the mean, but so far Neil Walker has been a deadly right-handed hitter in his brief Mets tenure. That continued on Memorial Day, as the team’s second baseman belted his fifth home run from the right side and 12th long ball overall to break a scoreless tie in the seventh inning, accounting for all the offense in the Mets’ 1-0 victory over the White Sox.

“It’s probably the most [home runs] I’ve had to this point in the year in my career,” Walker said. “I guess it’s uncharted territory for me, but more than that, I’m happy to be stringing together good at-bats.
