Nationals still need a closer, again trying for David Robertson

In an effort to finally acquire a closer, the Nationals are still talking with the White Sox about a trade for right-handed reliever David Robertson, according to FoxSports.com's Ken Rosenthal.

This winter, the Nationals reportedly tried to sign Holland, Aroldis Chapman, Kenley Jansen, and Mark Melancon, all of whom signed with different organizations. In the case of Jansen and Melancon, they reportedly accepted less money than what was offered by Washington.

Instead, they ended up signing Joe Nathan, Matt Albers, Tim Collins, Vance Worley and Neal Cotts to minor-league deals.
