The Mets gave out a Jesse Orosco bobblehead on Saturday night, an ode to the 1986 World Series team and really, the last Mets closer to get it done in a big spot.
Since Orosco silenced the Sox in 1986, many men have tried to get the Mets back to the top of the mountain and have failed – miserably.
Bobby Parnell, who had just a brutal night Tuesday, is one of those men, but can take solace in the fact that he’s A: not alone and B: not near the top of the list, well, my list anyway.
